The last time I updated this blog is in the beginning of May. I lost one of my best friend in the middle of May this year. Achmad Zulfikar Fawzi, yup, he is commonly called Ujik. He entered work at the same company as me in early April this year. He replaced the position of Dimas who had moved previously to other company at the end of January. I offered him to stay in a room together with me in the dormitory. In that month it was really busy because the plant was having Turn Around Maintenance (TAM) which impact both of us arrived at dormitory at 7/8 pm every day for approximately 2-3 months. That thing made us physically exhausted caused by lack of sleep. We support each other so we don't get sick at that time. In this chance I would like to share my opinion about how social media can influence our life. I clearly remember when I just start playing social media when I was in junior high school, Friendster. Do we remember how we interact with our personal computer and our willingness to pay rental computer hour by hour? Friendster rule social media around 2006 – 2008 if I am not mistaken. Customize page facility that makes us diligently change the profile such as background in our Friendster wall and also give long description of us until we request our friends to provide testimonials each other. Especially with the facility “who's viewed me” who used to really make us curious if there are somebody spy on us. Financial matter became very important when I am in College. I will explain about financial matter in my point of view when pursue a bachelor degree in surabaya, Indonesia. In my opinion college is the transition stage between being dependent and independent from our parents. I took seriously about this things until I decided not to be funded again by My parents related to tuition and daily needs at the beginning of my college life. Initially it was very difficult for me to have to buy anything including meals, gasoline, entertainment etc with the remaining savings when I am in high school. Until finally I can find ways to earn money to support my college until graduate such as be a private teacher, get a scholarship, join project,   competitions, doing a small business and so on. Indonesian squad from UI, ITS and Trisakti University This story is intended for you who are still in college. I have a dream to go abroad when I freshman in 2013. I realized that I don’t have any capability to join any overseas program, even I don’t know at all about whether there is a program that can make me go abroad. On the other hand my parents’ financial was being critical. At that time I thought I was just focusing on college, looking for scholarships and looking for additional income as private teacher that’s all. Starting in the end of my first year in college, there is an opportunity to be part of volunteer in ITS International Office.  ITS is abbreviation of Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember instead of Institut Teknologi Surabaya. So, here is the place where I pursue my degree.  It is common for all students who will take an action in their sophomore to join the organization. Probably, They will confused to choose student association in department, faculty or Institution (BEM). I don't know how I had no interest to join any student association. My decision moving from Ocean Engineering to Chemical Engineering isn't going smooth initially. The comfort zone, good friends and the path that seems pretty clear to pursue must be start all over again.  My feeling told me that there is always consequences in every decision. So then I am trying to cooperate with my new friends, trying to understand the situation inside this department and so on. Basically in Chemical Engineering is full of smart people, did you know that Chemical Engineering is the best department in ITS  from input and output student.  Based on this fact I realize that the atmosphere of competition much harder than before. More or less 5 years since my last post on this blog, I decided to again want to share my life story to all of you! From this moment I would like to write all of these things in english! Simply because I would like to share as many as possible readers, beside that I would like to learn how to be a good writer because I realize that I am not a good writer even just trying to make an essay.
