Starting as Chemical Engineering Student

My decision moving from Ocean Engineering to Chemical Engineering isn't going smooth initially. The comfort zone, good friends and the path that seems pretty clear to pursue must be start all over again.  My feeling told me that there is always consequences in every decision. So then I am trying to cooperate with my new friends, trying to understand the situation inside this department and so on. Basically in Chemical Engineering is full of smart people, did you know that Chemical Engineering is the best department in ITS  from input and output student.  Based on this fact I realize that the atmosphere of competition much harder than before. From my experience in my previous department, I am trying to accelerate in adapt with my friends and the sophomore.  The connection between one and the other is very important, I am trying to cooperate with the final year student knowing how they spend their college life. Soft skill? yang pasti ini gaada di pelajaran sekolah mulai SD sampai SMA bahkan juga gaada di mata kuliah perkuliahan. Tapi justru inilah pelajaran yang bisa membawa kesuksesan nantinya. loh kok bisa? memang disini ga diajarkan menghitung matematika ataupun menghitung penjualan dan pembelian tetapi disini belajar tentang kehidupan yang sebenarnya atau kehidupan nyata, dimana kita berinteraksi dengan banyak orang di keseharian kita. aku yakin kebanyakan dari kita kalau berbicara didepan umum pasti banyak yang ga berani atau dalam kata lainya malu.kenapa? karena kita merasa belum pantas ngomong seperti itu,kok bisa?karena gaada jiwa kepemimpinan didalam diri kita. The Influence of Social Media

In this chance I would like to share my opinion about how social media can influence our life. I clearly remember when I just start playing social media when I was in junior high school, Friendster. Do we remember how we interact with our personal computer and our willingness to pay rental computer hour by hour? Friendster rule social media around 2006 – 2008 if I am not mistaken. Customize page facility that makes us diligently change the profile such as background in our Friendster wall and also give long description of us until we request our friends to provide testimonials each other. Especially with the facility “who's viewed me” who used to really make us curious if there are somebody spy on us. We feel that by having more friends on Friendster and the more people who see our Friendster profile, we feel more and more proud of it unconsciously.
